Graduate Scholarship Awards

The Hampton Roads Chapter of the Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA) offers a $1,000 scholarship for graduate study in Public Administration, Urban Studies, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Application Requirements:

• Full-time graduate study;
• Current or most recent transcript indicating 3.0 graduate or 3.0 undergraduate grade point average;
• Two-page essay on your professional goals; and
• Two letters of recommendation.

Application Deadline: Completed applications should be submitted to Tony R. Torres, Scholarship Chairperson, by March 31, 2008. Scholarship awards will be presented at the Scholarship Awards Luncheon at the Annual Conference on June 5, 2008.
