Distinguished Public Service Awards

 

 

The Hampton Roads Chapter of the Conference of Minority Public Administrators Distinguished Public Service Award is presented each year to two people from the Hampton Roads region whose career and/or public service record best exemplifies the values upon which the organization was founded. Nominations can be made by the members of the general public, community leaders, agency professionals, or government officials that have been personally inspired by these leaders.

 

Nomination Requirements:
§    A demonstrated solid track record of distinguished public service by strengthening 
    families and/or communities;

  • A commitment to the professionalism and sensitivity of public service that effects change in the community; and
  • Dedicated leadership, creativity, and integrity.

 

Application Deadline: Completed nominations should be submitted to Ronald M. Frink, Conference Chairperson, by April 7, 2008. Honorees will be recognized at the Distinguished Public Service Awards Luncheon at the Annual Conference on June 6, 2008.
